I really hope I'm not the only person on Earth who hates this movie. 
Seriously, Avatar was a big disappointment for me. I think that everyone can unanimously agree that the special effects are nothing short of amazing. But, in my opinion, that's the only good thing about it. The story is just plain stupid.
"Let's waste a few billion dollars going to war with an alien race so we can get some rocks that MIGHT get us a few billion dollars! That makes PERFECT sense!"
"Let's destroy everything that is sacred to the Na'vi! Why? Because we have to follow the cliche of humans being evil in movies with aliens!"
Plus, we get two overly dramatic death scenes that didn't faze me in the least bit because the characters were never developed or likable. Heck, most characters in this movie aren't.
I'll betcha if this movie wasn't so graphically amazing, it wouldn't be nearly as popular. Then again, maybe it would be, because then they probably would have actually focused on telling a good story rather than making it look pretty.

You aren't the only one that hates Avatar movie. I hate it too. It rips off Disney's Pocahontas and Ferngully: The Last Rainforest. I give it 2 out of 10
